- 6 slices thick-cut bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
Step 2: Prepare the Potatoes and Bacon
- In a large mixing bowl, add the halved baby potatoes, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the potatoes until they are well coated with the seasonings.
- Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down.
- Scatter the pieces of bacon evenly around the potatoes.
Step 3: Bake the Potatoes and Bacon
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and crispy, and the bacon is fully cooked.
- Halfway through the cooking time, use a spatula to turn the potatoes and stir the bacon to ensure even cooking.
Step 4: Add Finishing Touches
- If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the potatoes and bacon during the last 5 minutes of baking for a crispy, cheesy finish.
- Once baked, remove the sheet pan from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Cooking Tips & Notes
- Cut Side Down: Make sure to place the potatoes cut side down on the baking sheet. This will help them get that perfect crispy texture.
- Bacon Choice: Thick-cut bacon works best for this recipe because it crisps up nicely while still adding a chewy texture.
- Seasoning: Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste. Smoked paprika or cayenne pepper can add a bit of a kick.
Variations
- Add Vegetables: Add sliced bell peppers, onions, or even Brussels sprouts to the baking sheet for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Herb Swap: Replace the dried thyme with rosemary or oregano for a different herbaceous note.
- Cheesy Version: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the potatoes during the last 5 minutes of baking for a cheesy twist.
- Egg Addition: Crack a few eggs over the sheet pan during the last 10 minutes of baking for a complete breakfast dish.

Yes! You can use russet or Yukon Gold potatoes. Just make sure to cut them into small, even-sized pieces so they cook evenly.

Been playing on Lottoland Casino since the start of summer, so the honeymoon phase is well behind me. Originally came for the lottery side, and then discovered the casino section. The gaming section goes deeper than you would think, combining lotto draws with slots and table games.
Providers on the casino side include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Red Tiger and a handful of others. Gates of Olympus and Starburst are both here, though the selection is not as vast as a pure casino site. The real draw is the lottery product: you can bet on the outcome of dozens of international lotteries, including some enormous jackpot pools. Scratchcards and quick games fill out the rest.
The welcome offer on the platform varies by region: typically a discounted first bet on a lottery draw. Deposit matches for the casino show up now and then, though the lottery promos are more frequent. The live bonus details can be found at lottoland before placing your first bet. Playthrough on the casino side is in the standard range.
The deposit floor is friendly: lottery entries start from a pound. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Paysafecard all work. PayPal payouts landed quickly, bank transfers ran the usual few days. KYC was quick — passport photo cleared within the day.
The app is available on both iOS and Android, and the interface is clean. Draw results appear as they happen, and the casino games play fine on mobile too. Support is available via live chat and email, replies come within a few minutes. Holds licences from Gibraltar and the UKGC, which gives proper regulatory backing. Overall a solid platform.

I have been using Lottoland Casino for a few months now, so the honeymoon phase is well behind me. Originally came for the lottery side, and then discovered the casino section. The Lottoland catalogue goes deeper than you would think, with both lottery products and a full casino lobby.
The casino side runs on games from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution and Nolimit City. Gates of Olympus and Starburst are both here, though the total count is lower than a standalone casino. What makes it different is the lotto side: results from lotteries around the world are covered, with jackpots sometimes exceeding a billion. Instant win titles round things off.
The introductory bonus at Lottoland is region specific: usually a free lottery line or discounted entry. The casino side gets its own promotions from time to time, but the lottery offers are the main thing. The live bonus details are worth checking on lottoland online before you sign up. Wagering terms on casino bonuses sit around 30 to 40x.
The deposit floor is friendly: lottery entries start from a pound. The usual cards plus PayPal are accepted. Withdrawals to PayPal came through within a day, card withdrawals were two to three days. Verification was straightforward — uploaded a driving licence and a bank statement, done in a few hours.
Mobile works through a dedicated app, and the interface is clean. Results come through live in the app, and the casino games play fine on mobile too. The help team is reachable through live chat, replies come within a few minutes. Holds licences from Gibraltar and the UKGC, which gives proper regulatory backing. Overall a solid platform.

I have been using Lottoland for a few months now, so the honeymoon phase is well behind me. A friend recommended it for the lotto products, though the slots pulled me in too. The game library covers more ground than I expected, combining lotto draws with slots and table games.
The casino side runs on games from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution and Nolimit City. The top titles are easy to find, although it does not compete with dedicated casino platforms on volume. Where Lottoland genuinely stands out is the lottery betting: EuroMillions, PowerBall, MegaMillions and about forty others, and the jackpot sizes can be staggering. There are also scratch cards and instant win games.
The sign-up deal at Lottoland varies by region: typically a discounted first bet on a lottery draw. The casino side gets its own promotions from time to time, though the lottery promos are more frequent. Current promotions and terms can be found at lottoland since they rotate regularly. Playthrough on the casino side is in the standard range.
The deposit floor is friendly: one pound for lottery bets, ten for casino. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Paysafecard all work. PayPal payouts landed quickly, card payouts took a bit longer. KYC was quick — ID check passed on the first attempt.
There is a proper app for phone and tablet, and the interface is clean. Lottery draws update in real time, and the casino games play fine on mobile too. Support is available via live chat and email, replies come within a few minutes. Holds licences from Gibraltar and the UKGC, which gives proper regulatory backing. Overall a solid platform.

Been playing at Revery Play Casino since around Easter, so the first impression stage is well past. A mate at work mentioned it, since I wanted better game variety. The game selection here is solid without being overwhelming, combining slots with a respectable live section.
Providers include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Nolimit City and Hacksaw Gaming. The usual suspects sit at the top, but I gravitate toward the high volatility section. The live tables run on Evolution, which covers roulette, blackjack and the wheel games. Tables are staffed day and night, though the cheap seats fill up after dinner.
The introductory package here offers a matched deposit plus spins. The playthrough sits at 35x, which is reasonable for a UK facing site. The latest promotions are worth looking at on revery play before you commit funds. There are weekly reload offers.
Minimum deposit is ten pounds. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Paysafecard are accepted. PayPal payouts arrived quickly, bank transfers ran a couple of days. Identity verification went smoothly — driving licence and a utility bill, cleared in a few hours.
On the phone I play through the browser and it runs well. There is no native app to install, so no download required. The chat team replies within minutes and the agents are helpful. Regulation is Curacao based, meaning no UK Gambling Commission oversight. Payouts have always come through for me.

Been playing at Revery Play Casino since around Easter, so I have a fair idea of how it runs. A mate at work mentioned it, because my old one kept delaying withdrawals. The catalogue at Revery Play covers the main bases, combining slots with a respectable live section.
The games are supplied by Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Red Tiger and a few boutique studios. Book of Dead and Reactoonz are easy to find, though I spend more time on the newer releases. Live casino is Evolution, so Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, blackjack and baccarat. Dealers are on twenty-four seven, although peak hours can be crowded.
The introductory package here is a 100 percent match up to 200 pounds with free spins. Wagering is 35x, which is reasonable for a UK facing site. The latest promotions are worth looking at on revery play before you commit funds. There are weekly reload offers.
The floor is ten pounds. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Paysafecard go through smoothly. Withdrawals to PayPal landed within a day, bank transfers ran a couple of days. Identity verification went smoothly — passed on the first attempt.
I use the mobile site on my phone and loading times are fast. No app needed, which I prefer anyway. Customer service is available around the clock and they read the question before answering. Licence is Curacao, meaning no UK Gambling Commission oversight. Payouts have always come through for me.
