Table of Contents

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend for best flavor)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Gravy

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Hamburger Steaks

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overmix.

Form the mixture into 4-5 oval patties.

Step 3: Sear the Patties

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sear the hamburger steaks for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned. Transfer the patties to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 4: Make the Gravy

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux. Gradually whisk in the beef broth until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Bring the gravy to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until thickened.

Step 5: Bake

Pour the gravy over the hamburger steaks in the baking dish. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the hamburger steaks are cooked through and tender.

Step 6: Serve

Serve the Amish Hamburger Steak Bake hot, with plenty of gravy spooned over each steak. Pair with mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, or a side of vegetables for a complete meal.

Cook Notes

  • Ground Beef: Use an 80/20 blend of ground beef for the best flavor and juiciness. Leaner ground beef can result in drier patties.
  • Breadcrumbs: You can use regular breadcrumbs or panko for added texture. For extra flavor, use seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • Gravy Consistency: If the gravy is too thick, add a bit more beef broth to reach your desired consistency.

Variations

1. Mushroom Gravy Hamburger Steak Bake

Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms to the skillet when making the gravy for a mushroom gravy version.

2. Cheesy Hamburger Steak Bake

Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese over the hamburger steaks before pouring the gravy on top for a cheesy twist.

3. Spicy Hamburger Steak Bake

Add 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the hamburger mixture for a bit of heat.

Serving Suggestions

  • Mashed Potatoes: Serve with creamy mashed potatoes to soak up the delicious gravy.
  • Buttered Egg Noodles: Pair with buttered egg noodles for a comforting and satisfying meal.
  • Roasted Vegetables: Add a side of roasted carrots, green beans, or broccoli for a balanced meal.

  1. Solid little post, the kind that does not need to be flashy because the substance is doing the work, and a look at uplandcoveoutlet kept that quiet confidence going across the site, this is what writing looks like when the writer trusts the content to land on its own without theatrics or unnecessary attention seeking behaviour.

  5. Skipped the related links section thinking I had read enough and then came back to it later when curiosity got the better of me, and a stop at crystalharbortradehouse confirmed I should have just read it first, every section of this site appears to deserve careful attention rather than skipping past lazily.

  6. Skipped the TLDR thinking I would read everything anyway, and ended up enjoying the path through the full post, and a stop at rainharborcollective similarly rewarded the patient read, summaries are useful but the journey through good writing is part of what makes the destination feel earned rather than just delivered cleanly.

  9. Now placing this in the same category as a few other sites I have come to trust, and a look at crystalharbortradehouse continued the placement decision, the small category of fully trusted sites is one I extend rarely and only after multiple positive reading sessions and this site has earned the category placement methodically over time.

  10. Worth flagging that the post handled an angle of the topic I had not seen elsewhere, and a look at rainharborcollective extended that fresh treatment, content that finds underexplored corners of well covered subjects is genuinely valuable and this site has demonstrated that exploratory editorial approach across multiple pieces in my reading sessions today.

  13. Honestly impressed, did not expect to find this level of care on the topic, and a stop at timbercovegoodsstore cemented the impression, you can tell within the first few paragraphs whether a site is going to be worth the time and this one delivered on that early promise nicely throughout the rest of what I read.

  15. Now considering writing a longer note about the post somewhere, and a look at elmwillowemporium added more material for that note, content that prompts me to write rather than just consume is content with generative energy and this site is producing that generative effect for me at a higher rate than most sources.

  17. Big thanks to whoever wrote this, you saved me a lot of time hunting for the same info on other sites, and a stop at uplandcoveoutlet only added more useful detail without going off topic, that kind of focus is honestly hard to come across these days when most posts wander everywhere.

  33. I have been using Lottoland for a few months now, so the honeymoon phase is well behind me. I found it because of the lottery betting, but ended up staying for the casino as well. The game library is surprisingly large, with both lottery products and a full casino lobby.

Providers on the casino side include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution and Nolimit City. Sweet Bonanza and Gonzo’s Quest sit in the popular section, though the selection is not as vast as a pure casino site. The real draw is the lottery product: EuroMillions, PowerBall, MegaMillions and about forty others, and the jackpot sizes can be staggering. There are also scratch cards and instant win games.

The sign-up deal here depends on where you are: typically a discounted first bet on a lottery draw. Casino bonuses appear occasionally, though the lottery promos are more frequent. Current promotions and terms should be verified at lottoland online since they rotate regularly. Rollover requirements are typical for the industry.

The deposit floor is friendly: one pound for lottery bets, ten for casino. The usual cards plus PayPal are accepted. PayPal payouts landed quickly, card payouts took a bit longer. Verification was straightforward — uploaded a driving licence and a bank statement, done in a few hours.

Mobile works through a dedicated app, which is well designed and runs smoothly. Draw results appear as they happen, and the slot section works well on the smaller screen. Customer service responds on chat, response times are reasonable. Holds licences from Gibraltar and the UKGC, which gives proper regulatory backing. Worth considering if the lottery side interests you.

  34. Now feeling confident enough in this site to use it as a reference point for evaluating others on the same topic, and a look at hazelharborvendoratelier continued the comparison friendly quality, sites that serve as quality benchmarks for their topic are precious and this one has clearly become a benchmark for me on this particular subject area.

Providers on the casino side include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Blueprint. The top titles are easy to find, though the selection is not as vast as a pure casino site. Where Lottoland genuinely stands out is the lottery betting: results from lotteries around the world are covered, and the jackpot sizes can be staggering. Scratchcards and quick games fill out the rest.

The sign-up deal at Lottoland is region specific: typically a discounted first bet on a lottery draw. Deposit matches for the casino show up now and then, but the lottery offers are the main thing. Latest offers and any active codes can be found at lottoland before you sign up. Wagering terms on casino bonuses sit around 30 to 40x.

The deposit floor is friendly: a pound gets you into a draw, ten for the casino. The usual cards plus PayPal are accepted. Cashouts via e-wallet took under twenty-four hours, card payouts took a bit longer. Verification was straightforward — passport photo cleared within the day.

Mobile works through a dedicated app, which is well designed and runs smoothly. Lottery draws update in real time, with the casino accessible from the same app. The help team is reachable through live chat, wait times are short. 47. Signed up at Lottoland for a few months now, so the honeymoon phase is well behind me. Originally came for the lottery side, but ended up staying for the casino as well. The Lottoland catalogue goes deeper than you would think, combining lotto draws with slots and table games.

Providers on the casino side include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Blueprint. The top titles are easy to find, though the selection is not as vast as a pure casino site. A reliable option for lottery and light casino play.

  49. Been playing on this platform for a few months now, so I have had enough time to form a real opinion. A friend recommended it for the lotto products, and then discovered the casino section. The game library is surprisingly large, mixing lottery betting with standard casino games.

Software comes from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution and Nolimit City. The top titles are easy to find, although it does not compete with dedicated casino platforms on volume. Where Lottoland genuinely stands out is the lottery betting: you can bet on the outcome of dozens of international lotteries, with jackpots sometimes exceeding a billion. Scratchcards and quick games fill out the rest.

The welcome offer at Lottoland varies by region: usually a free lottery line or discounted entry. Casino bonuses appear occasionally, although the lotto side gets more attention. Current promotions and terms are worth checking on lottoland before placing your first bet. Playthrough on the casino side is in the standard range.

You can start with as little as a pound: a pound gets you into a draw, ten for the casino. Payment methods include cards, PayPal and prepaid options. PayPal payouts landed quickly, bank transfers ran the usual few days. KYC was quick — passport photo cleared within the day.
