With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful dish that’s perfect for parties, game day, or any gathering. The kielbasa is cooked in a delicious apple-based sauce that infuses it with a wonderful balance of sweetness and tang.

Table of Contents

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups apple jelly
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the apple jelly, barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Whisk until well blended and smooth.

Step 2: Add Ingredients to the Slow Cooker

  1. Place the sliced kielbasa in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Pour the prepared apple sauce mixture over the kielbasa, making sure all pieces are evenly coated.

Step 3: Cook the Kielbasa Bites

  1. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low heat for 3-4 hours or on high heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and coating.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Once the kielbasa bites are heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly, switch the slow cooker to the “warm” setting.
  2. Serve the Apple Kielbasa Bites directly from the slow cooker or transfer them to a serving dish. Enjoy with toothpicks for easy serving!

Cooking Tips & Notes

  • Sauce Consistency: If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow some of the liquid to evaporate.
  • Apple Jelly: Apple jelly adds a lovely sweetness to the dish, but you can also substitute it with apricot or pineapple jelly for a different flavor.
  • Stirring: Stir the kielbasa bites occasionally to ensure even coating and prevent any pieces from sticking to the slow cooker.

Variations

  • Spicy Apple Kielbasa Bites: Add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce for a hint of heat.
  • Honey Mustard Kielbasa: Substitute the apple jelly with honey and increase the Dijon mustard for a tangy honey mustard flavor.
  • Beer-Infused Version: Add 1/2 cup of your favorite beer to the sauce mixture for an extra layer of depth and flavor.
  • Vegetarian Option: Use vegetarian sausage or plant-based kielbasa to make a meat-free version of this appetizer.

37. So I’ve been messing around on Craybet for like six weeks or so and thought I’d throw out my experience because there’s not much discussion about this place around here. Registered on a whim and signing up was like 90 seconds. Starting deposit was $10 which is normal for US-facing sites. Got a welcome bonus — matched my first deposit 100% up to 500 plus 50 free spins on Gates of Olympus. Rollover is 35x and that isn’t amazing but not the worst I’ve seen.

Their slots catalog is decent honestly. They’ve got stuff from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, and Microgaming — so like Book of Dead, Starburst, the usual heavy hitters. Somewhere around 1500-2000 slots when you add it all up. Live dealer stuff uses Evolution and it’s legit — played some blackjack and Crazy Time with actual croupiers and zero lag issues.

Tbh the thing that annoyed me a little was how long cashouts take. Tried cashing out with Visa and waited about 48 hours for my first withdrawal. Second time around it dropped to like 24 hours. Payment options include credit cards, Skrill, Neteller, Bitcoin which is most bases. I’d look at their current offers at Craybet review if you’re interested.

Mobile experience on Craybet on my phone is actually smooth. I didn’t find a native app though the mobile site loads fast and everything works without issues. Was playing a few sessions on my commute and had zero problems.

Customer service on Craybet has been decent — they have live chat that actually connects pretty quick most times. I contacted them about a bonus that didn’t credit and it was resolved pretty quickly. Licensing is operating under a Curacao license which is what most offshore casinos. Wouldn’t say it’s perfect — promo codes seem rare — but as a daily player it does the job for me.

  38. Been playing on Craybet for about a couple months and wanted to share some thoughts because there’s not many posts about them in this forum. I signed up after seeing an ad and the whole process was like a couple minutes. Starting deposit was $10 which is about what you’d expect. They threw in a welcome bonus — matched my first deposit 100% up to 500 plus 50 free spins on Gates of Olympus. Wagering was 35 times the bonus which isn’t amazing but I’ve dealt with worse.

Game selection is decent honestly. There’s games from Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, and Microgaming — so like Gates of Olympus, Starburst, the usual heavy hitters. Probably close to a couple thousand titles when you add it all up. Live casino is powered by Evolution and it’s legit — tried roulette and Lightning Roulette with real dealers and zero lag issues.

Now the one thing that annoyed me a little was how long cashouts take. Tried cashing out with Skrill and it took almost two days the first time. Once you’re verified though it was faster. You can use Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Bitcoin which covers most bases. You can look at their current offers at Craybet payout if you’re interested.

Customer service on Craybet has been alright — they have live chat that gets you a person pretty quick usually. Reached out once about a bonus that didn’t credit and got it fixed pretty quickly. Not sure about Curacao licensed which is typical of platforms like this. Wouldn’t say it’s perfect — promo codes seem rare — but for what it is it does the job for me.

Somewhere around a couple thousand titles total if you count everything. Live casino runs on Evolution and it’s smooth — tried blackjack and Crazy Time with real dealers and it worked great.
