Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites are a perfect sweet and savory appetizer that’s easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful dish that’s perfect for parties, game day, or any gathering. The kielbasa is cooked in a delicious apple-based sauce that infuses it with a wonderful balance of sweetness and tang.

Table of Contents

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups apple jelly
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the apple jelly, barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Whisk until well blended and smooth.

Step 2: Add Ingredients to the Slow Cooker

  1. Place the sliced kielbasa in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Pour the prepared apple sauce mixture over the kielbasa, making sure all pieces are evenly coated.

Step 3: Cook the Kielbasa Bites

  1. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low heat for 3-4 hours or on high heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and coating.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Once the kielbasa bites are heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly, switch the slow cooker to the “warm” setting.
  2. Serve the Apple Kielbasa Bites directly from the slow cooker or transfer them to a serving dish. Enjoy with toothpicks for easy serving!

Cooking Tips & Notes

  • Sauce Consistency: If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow some of the liquid to evaporate.
  • Apple Jelly: Apple jelly adds a lovely sweetness to the dish, but you can also substitute it with apricot or pineapple jelly for a different flavor.
  • Stirring: Stir the kielbasa bites occasionally to ensure even coating and prevent any pieces from sticking to the slow cooker.

Variations

  • Spicy Apple Kielbasa Bites: Add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce for a hint of heat.
  • Honey Mustard Kielbasa: Substitute the apple jelly with honey and increase the Dijon mustard for a tangy honey mustard flavor.
  • Beer-Infused Version: Add 1/2 cup of your favorite beer to the sauce mixture for an extra layer of depth and flavor.
  • Vegetarian Option: Use vegetarian sausage or plant-based kielbasa to make a meat-free version of this appetizer.

  40. Been punting on Tenobet since roughly February, and I figure I have enough experience to say something useful. Came across it off a mate who wanted something with decent slot coverage without the usual affordability checks you see everywhere now on the regulated UK ones. Should flag early: it’s not UK Gambling Commission licensed and it isn’t on GamStop, which will matter to some of you a lot.

Lobby’s honestly massive — about 3,000+ games going by the counter, with the names you’d want all turn up: Pragmatic, NetEnt, Play n GO, Big Time Gaming, Betsoft, Microgaming. I mostly grind Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus, which both run fine on mobile browser. Live side is Evolution, so you know exactly what you expect — real croupiers, the game shows like Crazy Time when I fancy a punt on something daft. There’s a sportsbook too, and it gets a bit of use from me on footy, it’s fine, nothing more.

Bonus-wise is a 100% match to ?125 and 100 spins thrown in, and you need the code JOIN002 at deposit — I nearly forgot it the first time. Read the wagering before depositing, the requirement is fairly standard to be honest. Don’t expect free credit without depositing that I could find. To check what’s running currently, you’ll find them at https://solvecovid19.net if you’re curious. Min deposit’s a tenner, signing up took about three minutes.

Cashouts have been the better half for me. Visa and Mastercard go through, e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller are supported, and crypto if you prefer. My Skrill cashouts have come through same day twice; card payouts took closer to three days. My main gripe was the verification — they took a day and a half to verify me, and my first withdrawal sat waiting until that cleared. Not a scam, just slow.

Couple of niggles: there’s no app, so you’re on mobile browser only. Honestly it’s fine on Android though I’d prefer a proper app. The login is occasionally a bit slow in the evenings. Customer service at Tenobet is live chat, English, decent, though the first replies read like templates. Get past the script and they’re helpful enough.

  41. I’ve been using Tenobet for February, so I suppose I have enough experience to actually comment. Stumbled on it via a mate of mine who was chasing a site with proper game coverage that didn’t have the usual affordability nonsense you see everywhere now on the UKGC sites. Should flag early: this isn’t UKGC licensed and it isn’t on GamStop, which cuts both ways.

Lobby’s honestly massive — roughly 3,000+ titles last I looked, and the names you’d want are all there: Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play n GO, BTG, Yggdrasil, Microgaming’s back catalogue. Mainly I grind Gates of Olympus and Book of Dead, both load quick on mobile browser. Live dealer’s all Evolution, so you know exactly what you expect — real croupiers, the game shows like Crazy Time when I fancy a punt on something daft. Sports betting’s bolted on as well, and it I’ve dabbled in on footy, nothing special.

The welcome thing it’s a 100% match to ?125 and 100 free spins, you have to use the promo code JOIN002 — I nearly forgot it the first time. Read the wagering before depositing, it’s not amazing but not predatory to be honest. No no-deposit freebie unfortunately. For the what’s running currently, you’ll find them over on tenobet rather than taking my word for it. Minimum deposit is ?10, standard stuff, the form took under five minutes.

Cashouts have been the better half for me. Cards go through, e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller are supported, and crypto if you prefer. My Skrill cashouts have come through same day twice; cards were a bit longer. What did wind me up was KYC — they took about two days to clear my documents, so the first cashout just sat there until that cleared. Not a scam, just slow.

Few more things: there’s no app, so it’s browser only. Honestly it’s fine on my phone but I’d prefer a proper app. The login can be fiddly around weekend evenings. Live chat at Tenobet is live chat, English, decent, though the opening messages read like templates. Push past that and someone competent turns up.

  45. I’ve been using Tenobet for the spring, and I figure I’ve got a fair bit of experience to give an honest take. Came across it through a mate of mine who wanted something with proper game coverage without the usual affordability nonsense you get now on the UK licensed sites. Worth saying up front: this isn’t UKGC licensed and it’s not on the GamStop scheme, which cuts both ways.

Lobby’s genuinely big — somewhere around 3,500+ titles going by the counter, with the names you’d want are present: Pragmatic, Net Ent, Play’n GO, BTG, Yggdrasil, Microgaming. Mainly I grind Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus, which both load quick in browser. Live side is Evolution, which means exactly what you expect — actual dealers, Crazy Time for a change of pace. They do sports as well, which I’ve used a handful of times on footy, it’s fine, nothing more.

The welcome thing it’s a 100% match to ?125 plus 100 spins thrown in, and you need the code JOIN002 or it won’t trigger. Do read the terms first, the requirement is not amazing but not predatory to be honest. Don’t expect free credit without depositing as far as I can tell. If you want to see the live offers, they’re listed over on tenobet before you sign up. Minimum deposit is ?10, signing up took about three minutes.

Cashouts have been the stronger part for me. Cards work, e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller are there, and crypto if you prefer. My Skrill cashouts have landed same day twice; card payouts took closer to three days. What did wind me up was the verification — it took a day and a half to verify me, so the first cashout just sat there until that cleared. Nothing shady about it, but a bit of a wait.

Other gripes: there’s no app, so it’s the mobile site. Works fine on Android but I’d prefer a proper app. The login sometimes gets fiddly around weekend evenings. Live chat at Tenobet is fine — maybe five minutes to get a human, but the first replies feel a bit scripted. Get past the script and they sort it.

  48. I’ve been punting on Tenobet since roughly March, and I suppose I have a fair bit of history to actually comment. Stumbled on it off a mate of mine who was after something with half-decent game coverage that didn’t have the usual deposit limit nagging you run into now on the regulated UK ones. Worth saying up front: it’s not UK Gambling Commission licensed and it’s not on the GamStop scheme, which is either the point or a dealbreaker.

The lobby is honestly massive — somewhere around 3,000+ games going by the counter, with the usual heavy hitters are present: Pragmatic, NetEnt, Play’n GO, BTG, Yggdrasil, Microgaming’s back catalogue. I mostly rinse Gates of Olympus plus Sweet Bonanza, both behave properly on mobile browser. Live side is all Evolution, so you know what you’re getting — real croupiers, Crazy Time when I fancy a punt on something daft. Sports betting’s bolted on as well, which I’ve dabbled in on the football, it’s fine, nothing more.

The welcome thing it’s 100% up to ?125 plus 100 spins thrown in, you’ll want the code JOIN002 otherwise it just doesn’t apply. Check the playthrough before depositing, it’s not the loosest either. Don’t expect free credit without depositing that I could find. If you want to see the live offers, have a look at is tenobet legit before you sign up. Min deposit’s a tenner, signing up took under five minutes.

Cashouts have been generally fine for me. Cards work, Skrill and Neteller are supported, and crypto if you prefer. Skrill withdrawals have landed same day twice; cards were slower, 3-4 days. What did wind me up was the verification — they took a day and a half to approve my ID, and my first withdrawal just sat there until that cleared. Nothing shady about it, just slower than I’d like.

Couple of niggles: no native app, which means the mobile site. It’s responsive enough on my iPhone but I do miss having one. The login is occasionally sluggish at peak times. Support’s fine — maybe five minutes to get a human, but the first replies are copy-paste. Ask a specific question and they’re helpful enough.
