Pineapple and Coconut Tres Leches Cake is a tropical twist on the classic Latin American dessert. This cake is soaked in a combination of three types of milk (tres leches) and topped with a sweet pineapple and coconut mixture, making it rich, moist, and irresistibly delicious. It’s perfect for any celebration or whenever you’re craving something indulgent and tropical.
Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 5 large eggs, separated
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided into ¾ cup and ¼ cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup whole milk
For the Milk Mixture:
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup coconut milk (or heavy cream for a richer version)
For the Pineapple Topping:
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Whipped Cream Topping:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Garnishing:
- ½ cup shredded sweetened coconut, toasted
- Pineapple slices or chunks (optional)
Optional Add-Ins:
- 1 tablespoon rum in the milk mixture for an extra depth of flavor
- 1 teaspoon lime zest for brightness
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Cake Batter
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with ¾ cup sugar until thick and pale, about 2-3 minutes. Mix in the vanilla extract and whole milk.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg yolk mixture until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites on high speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining ¼ cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter until fully incorporated.
Step 2: Bake the Cake
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Make the Milk Mixture
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and coconut milk (or heavy cream). Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Soak the Cake
- Once the cake has cooled slightly, poke holes all over the cake using a fork or toothpick.
- Slowly pour the milk mixture over the entire cake, making sure to soak the cake evenly.
- Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the cake to absorb the milk mixture.
Step 5: Make the Pineapple Topping
- In a small saucepan, combine the drained crushed pineapple, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the pineapple thickens slightly and the sugar dissolves, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the pineapple topping cool completely.
Step 6: Prepare the Whipped Cream Topping
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
Step 7: Assemble the Cake
- Spread the cooled pineapple topping evenly over the soaked cake.
- Gently spread the whipped cream topping over the pineapple layer.
- Sprinkle the top with toasted coconut and garnish with pineapple slices or chunks if desired.
Step 8: Chill and Serve
- Chill the cake for an additional 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious Pineapple and Coconut Tres Leches Cake!
Cooking Notes
- Coconut Milk: You can use coconut cream for a richer flavor, but be sure to adjust the sweetness of the milk mixture accordingly.
- Toasting Coconut: To toast the coconut, place it in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, until golden brown and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
Variations
1. Mango and Coconut Tres Leches Cake
Replace the pineapple topping with mango puree or fresh diced mango for a tropical variation that pairs beautifully with coconut.
2. Pineapple Rum Tres Leches Cake
Add 1-2 tablespoons of dark rum to the milk mixture for an extra layer of flavor reminiscent of a tropical cocktail.
3. Chocolate Tres Leches Cake
For a chocolate twist, substitute ½ cup of cocoa powder for some of the flour in the cake batter. Keep the pineapple and coconut toppings for a delicious contrast.
4. Lime Coconut Tres Leches Cake
Add 1 tablespoon of lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice to the milk mixture for a citrusy twist that enhances the tropical flavors.

When assessing google ads agency, prioritize measurable business outcomes, clear responsibilities, realistic timelines, and unrestricted access to campaign data. Pricing comparisons should separate setup work, monthly management, creative production, landing-page support, and optional analytics projects. No agency can guarantee outcomes, but it should be able to explain its assumptions, methods, and decision-making process.
A useful review of Best Dating Sites needs to separate real matching features from advertising claims, popularity badges, and promotional rankings. International services also need clear language support, distance filters, time-zone considerations, translation features, and transparent billing currencies. This approach keeps expectations realistic while giving users practical criteria for judging quality and personal fit.
A balanced discussion of buy instant tiktok likes should separate verified customer feedback from promotional claims, affiliate rankings, and screenshots without supporting details. Claims about real users deserve scrutiny because labels alone do not prove genuine interest, watch time, comments, or future engagement. Clear terms make it easier to judge value while avoiding unsupported claims about quality, safety, or future performance.

Been reading this board for a while, but I figured I would share what I look at before signing up anywhere. After a few bad experiences I stopped trusting the big banners.
I always start with licensing: check who regulates the site, and whether they actually accept players from your country. After that I look at banking: I want at least one fast e-wallet option, and cashout times should be listed up front.
The welcome offer is where most people get caught. Wagering of 35x or 40x is normal, and the bonus usually expires in a week or two. A good recent review that covers all of this is here read more and it saved me some time.
On mobile I mostly use the browser version, so I check how the lobby works on a small screen. Support matters too: a real human reply beats a bot loop.
Hope this helps someone. Only play with money you can afford to lose.
Mostly a reader, rarely post, but I figured I would share how I pick an online casino these days. After trying maybe a dozen sites I stopped trusting the big banners.
Licence comes first for me: check who regulates the site, and if your country is on the allowed list. Next come deposits and withdrawals: I want at least one fast e-wallet option, and cashout times should be listed up front.
Never judge a site by the bonus alone. Anything above 40x rollover is a red flag for me, and live tables often do not count at all. A good recent review that covers all of this is here learn more and it saved me some time.

Long time lurker here, so here is what I look at before signing up anywhere. After trying maybe a dozen sites I stopped trusting the big banners.
I always start with licensing: find the licence number and look it up, because some sites quietly block certain regions. Then payments: crypto is a plus but not a must, and the withdrawal limits need to be written clearly.
Bonuses are the tricky part. Anything above 40x rollover is a red flag for me, and some games count less towards it. A useful overview with bonus rules, app info and payment methods can be found here Trino Casino before you deposit anything.
I play almost only on my phone, so I check how the lobby works on a small screen. Ask support one simple question first: a real human reply beats a bot loop.
Anyway, that is my routine. Treat it as entertainment, not income.
Long time lurker here, so here is my short checklist for choosing a casino site. After trying maybe a dozen sites I stopped going by ads alone.
First thing is the licence: see which authority is listed in the footer, and if your country is on the allowed list. After that I look at banking: crypto is a plus but not a must, and cashout times should be listed up front.
Bonuses are the tricky part. Read the wagering and the max bet rule, and live tables often do not count at all. A decent independent write-up with the current terms is here app Slotshopper before you deposit anything.
On mobile I mostly use the browser version, so I check how the lobby works on a small screen. Support matters too: if they answer in a couple of minutes that is a good sign.
Anyway, that is my routine. Set a budget and stick to it.
