Garlic and Butter Flatbread is a simple, yet incredibly delicious side dish or appetizer that pairs well with just about any meal. With a soft, fluffy texture and the rich flavors of garlic and butter, this flatbread is perfect for dipping, wrapping, or enjoying on its own. Whether served alongside soups, salads, or grilled meats, this easy-to-make flatbread will quickly become a favorite in your household.

Table of Contents

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Add the Greek yogurt and warm water. Stir until a dough begins to form.
2. Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 3-4 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
3. Rest the Dough: Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20-30 minutes. This will make it easier to roll out.
4. Divide and Roll: After resting, divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then use a rolling pin to roll each ball into a circle or oval about 1/4 inch thick.
5. Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Set aside.
6. Cook the Flatbread: Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place one rolled-out flatbread onto the hot skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until bubbles start to form and the bottom is golden brown. Flip the flatbread and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Brush with Garlic Butter: Remove the cooked flatbread from the skillet and immediately brush with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
8. Repeat: Repeat the process with the remaining dough portions.

Tips for Perfect Garlic and Butter Flatbread

• Rest the Dough: Letting the dough rest helps relax the gluten, making it easier to roll out and resulting in a softer flatbread.
• Use a Hot Skillet: Make sure your skillet is hot before adding the flatbread. This ensures a nice golden-brown color and a fluffy texture.
• Brush Immediately: Brushing the flatbread with garlic butter as soon as it comes off the skillet helps the butter soak in and enhances the flavor.

Recipe Variations

• Cheese-Stuffed Flatbread: Add a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese to the dough before rolling it out for a cheesy twist.
• Herb Flatbread: Add 1 teaspoon of dried oregano or thyme to the dough for extra herb flavor.
• Spicy Garlic Flatbread: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture for a bit of heat.

11. I’ve been messing about at Trino for about four months now, mostly late at night, so take this for what it’s worth. Joined after a mate’s recommendation, and sign-up took about two minutes — email, password, done, although they did want docs later, standard stuff with a UKGC licence.

Game selection is pretty huge — somewhere north of 3,000 titles by my rough count. Pragmatic Play dominates, so expect the usual — Sweet Bonanza pinned to the popular tab. Play’n GO supplies Book of Dead and Reactoonz, and there’s a fair amount of NetEnt and Microgaming in there too. I tend to live in high-volatility slots when I’ve got a bit of budget to burn.

The bonus at Trino Casino is 100% up to ?500 plus 200 free spins, spread over a few deposits. Wagering is 40x, and that’s about average, not amazing. Min deposit is ?20. They also run a small no deposit thing if you sign up to emails — it’s not always live, so you can check the current terms at trino casino apk rather than trusting my numbers.

Payouts are the bit that matters, and on this front Trino has been fine. Cashed out ?280 via Skrill last week and it cleared next morning. Visa and Mastercard work, Skrill and Neteller are faster, and they take crypto if that’s your thing. What did wind me up: bank transfers dragged on for nearly a week initially.

Live chat runs round the clock and the agents answered properly, though the first reply took a good quarter of an hour on a Saturday night. Live dealer runs on Evolution, so real croupiers, proper table limits for UK players, and Crazy Time for the game-show crowd — I don’t, much. No app, just the mobile site, which is fine on iPhone though sometimes forgets my filters.

34. I’ve been punting at Trino Casino since roughly the spring, usually on the commute home, so read this as a regular player’s take. Registered because of a random Twitter post, and the whole thing took maybe three minutes — just email and a password, though they did want ID later, which I expected.

The library is deeper than I thought — roughly 3,000+ slots and tables if the filter count is honest. Pragmatic Play takes up a lot of space, so expect the obvious ones — Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza pinned to the popular tab. Play’n GO supplies Book of Dead, and there’s a decent chunk of NetEnt, Yggdrasil and Big Time Gaming in there too. I tend to live in Big Time Gaming stuff when I’ve got patience.

The welcome offer at Trino Casino was 100% to ?500 with 200 spins, split across your first two top-ups. Playthrough is 40x, which is fair enough by 2026 standards. Min deposit sits at ?20. They also run a small no deposit thing if you sign up to emails — it rotates, so it’s worth a check the live promos at casino trino if you’re keen.

Withdrawals are the bit I care about most, and here Trino Casino has behaved. Cashed out ?420 to Skrill a fortnight ago and it cleared next morning. Visa and Mastercard are there, Skrill and Neteller are faster, plus there’s crypto if that’s your thing. The one thing that annoyed me: card withdrawals took four working days the first time.

Live dealer is all Evolution, so actual dealers, decent table limits for UK players, and Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette if you like the game show stuff — I don’t, much. Cashouts are honestly the part I care about most, and here Trino has been fine. Withdrew ?280 via Skrill last week and it landed in about six hours. Cards are there, e-wallets are quicker, plus there’s Bitcoin and a couple of altcoins for anyone who bothers. What did wind me up: card withdrawals took four working days the first time.
