Ingredients

For Baked Tapioca Pudding

  • 1/2 cup small pearl tapioca
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional, for topping)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Tapioca

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the tapioca pearls with 2 cups of water. Let soak for 30 minutes, then drain.

Step 2: Cook the Tapioca

  1. Add the soaked tapioca pearls to a saucepan with the whole milk and heavy cream.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture comes to a gentle boil and the tapioca pearls are tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Make the Custard

  1. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  2. Gradually add about 1/2 cup of the hot tapioca mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly to temper the eggs.
  3. Slowly pour the tempered egg mixture back into the saucepan with the tapioca, stirring constantly to combine.

Step 4: Bake the Pudding

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the tapioca mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle the top with ground nutmeg, if desired.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is lightly golden.

Step 5: Cool and Serve

  1. Allow the baked tapioca pudding to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. It can be served warm or chilled, depending on your preference.

Cook Notes & Tips

  • Stirring: Stir frequently while cooking the tapioca to prevent the pearls from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.
  • Tempering the Eggs: Slowly add the hot tapioca mixture to the eggs to avoid scrambling them. This step helps to create a smooth, creamy pudding.
  • Serving Options: Baked tapioca pudding is delicious on its own, but you can also serve it with a dollop of whipped cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce for extra indulgence.

Variations

  • Coconut Tapioca Pudding: Replace 1 cup of whole milk with coconut milk for a tropical twist.
  • Lemon Tapioca Pudding: Add 1 teaspoon of lemon zest to the custard mixture for a hint of citrus flavor.
  • Spiced Tapioca Pudding: Add 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon along with the nutmeg for a warm, spiced version.

  47. Been playing at this casino for a few months now, so I have a fair idea of how it runs. Came across it while looking for a new UK casino, since I wanted better game variety. The game selection here covers the main bases, with a good mix of slots, table games and live dealer.

Software comes from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Nolimit City and Hacksaw Gaming. Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus are front and centre, though I spend more time on the newer releases. The live tables run on Evolution, which covers roulette, blackjack and the wheel games. Tables are staffed day and night, but low stake tables get busy in the evening.

The welcome bonus here is a 100 percent match up to 200 pounds with free spins. Rollover is thirty-five times the bonus, fairly standard for this market. The latest promotions are listed at revery play since these change monthly. Cashback and free spin drops appear regularly.

Minimum deposit is ten pounds. Cards and PayPal all work without issues. Withdrawals to PayPal landed within a day, card withdrawals took two to three working days. Identity verification went smoothly — uploaded ID and it was approved overnight.

I use the mobile site on my phone and performance is smooth. No app needed, which honestly suits me. Support responds on live chat in English and they read the question before answering. Licence is Curacao, so not UKGC, which is worth knowing. Bottom line, my money has arrived every time.

  50. Signed up with Revery Play for a few months now, so the first impression stage is well past. A mate at work mentioned it, because my old one kept delaying withdrawals. The game selection here is solid without being overwhelming, enough variety to keep things fresh.

Software comes from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Evolution for the live side. Book of Dead and Reactoonz are easy to find, although the Megaways games are my go-to. The live tables run on Evolution, meaning all the major game shows and table games. Dealers are on twenty-four seven, though the cheap seats fill up after dinner.

The welcome bonus here is a 100 percent match up to 200 pounds with free spins. The playthrough sits at 35x, fairly standard for this market. The latest promotions are listed at revery play since these change monthly. There are weekly reload offers.

You can start from a tenner. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Paysafecard are accepted. PayPal payouts arrived quickly, debit card payouts were the usual two to three days. Document check was straightforward — uploaded ID and it was approved overnight.

I use the mobile site on my phone and it runs well. There is no native app to install, so no download required. Support responds on live chat in English and wait times are short. Regulation is Curacao based, so be aware of that going in. The main thing is withdrawals have been honoured.
