1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups marinara sauce
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Wet your hands slightly and roll the mixture into balls about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
In a large skillet, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 5-10 minutes.
