Strawberry Fluff Salad

Ingredients

• 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
• 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup mini marshmallows
• 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
• 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, drained
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
2. Fold in the whipped topping gently to maintain the light and airy texture.
3. Sprinkle in the strawberry gelatin powder and mix thoroughly.
4. Add the pineapple tidbits, ensuring they are well-drained, and fold them into the mixture.
5. Incorporate the sliced fresh strawberries and mini marshmallows, stirring gently.
6. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts for an added crunch.
7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until well-chilled.
