1/4 cup granulated sugar
Pinch of salt (optional)
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon strawberry jam (optional)
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries
1/2 cup granola
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated with butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even layer. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until combined.
Assemble the Dessert: Spread the cream cheese and whipped cream filling evenly over the chilled crust. Arrange the sliced fresh strawberries on top of the filling.
Add the Crunch: Sprinkle the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and granola over the strawberries.
Chill: Cover the dessert and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
