Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, typically around 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the vegetables. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
  5. Pour in the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Stir well to coat the spaghetti evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Once everything is heated through and well combined, remove from the heat. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
