Instructions
- Start by lightly greasing the slow cooker with a bit of cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts on top of the layer of onions.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, use a fork to shred the chicken right in the slow cooker.
