Ingredients
Scale:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (about 2 pounds)
1 cup apricot preserves
1 cup French dressing
Instructions
Rinse the chicken breasts or thighs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the apricot preserves and French dressing over the top.
Use a spoon or spatula to gently stir the preserves and dressing together with the chicken.
Cover the slow cooker with its lid. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the pot, mixing it well with the sauce before serving.
