A simple and delicious appetizer that combines the flaky goodness of crescent rolls with seasoned ground beef, creating a savory snack perfect for parties, game day, or quick weeknight meals.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 lb ground beef
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1 packet taco seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula for about 5-7 minutes.
Once the beef is cooked, drain excess grease if necessary, and stir in the taco seasoning according to package instructions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough onto a clean surface. Separate into triangles along the perforations.
On each triangle of dough, place about a tablespoon of the seasoned beef mixture and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
Starting from the wide end of each triangle, roll the dough tightly around the filling, pinching the sides to seal.
Arrange the filled puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm.
