Ingredients
Scale:
1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped bell peppers (red, green, or a mix)
1 cup chopped green onions
1 (16-ounce) box of buttery round crackers (such as Ritz)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
1 cup diced cooked chicken (optional)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend them until smooth and creamy.
Add the chopped celery, bell peppers, and green onions. Mix well to ensure the vegetables are evenly distributed.
Incorporate the Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder into the mixture, stirring until everything is well-combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Gently fold in half of the buttery round crackers, breaking them into smaller pieces as you mix.
Transfer the salad into a serving dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Crush the remaining crackers and sprinkle them over the top.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
