A delicious, hearty meal that combines succulent chicken pieces in a luscious, creamy sauce, cooked in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups baby carrots
- 2 cups baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the interior of your slow cooker.
- Place the chopped onion, baby carrots, and baby potatoes at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and arrange them over the vegetable layer.
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and flour. Pour this mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
- Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 6-7 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove the chicken and vegetables from the slow cooker, stir the sauce, and serve topped with parsley and Parmesan if desired.
