Crispy Hashbrown Sausage Bites

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it’s browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns, grated cheese, chopped onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Take a small handful of the hashbrown mixture and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Place about a tablespoon of the cooked sausage in the center, then fold the hashbrowns around the sausage to form a ball.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the hashbrown sausage bites in a single layer, leaving space between each. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once crispy, remove the bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
