In the world of savory pastries, the Cordon Bleu Crescent Ring stands as a mouthwatering fusion of flavors and textures. This dish takes the classic chicken Cordon Bleu—a beloved French-inspired favorite—and transforms it into an easy-to-make crescent roll appetizer that’s perfect for gatherings, family dinners, or a comforting weeknight meal. The golden-brown crescents cradle succulent chicken, savory ham, and melted cheese, all topped off with a drizzle of creamy Dijon sauce.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups cooked chicken, diced
1 cup cooked ham, diced
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
On a large baking sheet, arrange the triangle dough in a circle with the wide ends overlapping at the center and points facing outward.
Spoon the filling mixture onto the wide ends of the dough triangles.
Fold the points of the triangles over the filling, tucking them underneath the wide ends to seal in the deliciousness.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and fully cooked.
While the crescent ring is baking, prepare the creamy Dijon sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
Once the crescent ring is out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm, drizzled with the creamy Dijon sauce.
