Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls are the perfect no-bake dessert that combines these beloved flavors into a healthy, satisfying treat. Not only are they quick to whip up, but they also serve as a nutritious snack or a delightful addition to any dessert table.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chocolate protein powder (or any protein powder of your choice)
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
Chopped nuts or additional shredded coconut (optional, for rolling)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and shredded coconut (if using). Stir well to ensure all dry ingredients are evenly mixed.
In a separate bowl, add the creamy peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are smooth and well combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Using a spatula or your hands, mix until everything comes together. If it’s too dry, add a splash of water or more honey; if too wet, add more oats.
Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used up.
Place the formed balls onto a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
If you wish to drizzle chocolate on top, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and drizzle over the chilled balls.
