  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, and lemon zest.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix just until combined.
  6. Toss the blueberries with 1 tablespoon of flour and gently fold them into the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
