Ingredients
Scale:
6 large eggs
1 cup milk (whole or half-and-half for a richer filling)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Greasing your baking dish will ensure the quiche comes out easily.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 7-10 minutes. Remove bacon from the skillet and let it drain on paper towels.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and Dijon mustard until fully combined. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions into the egg mixture until evenly distributed.
Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, making sure it’s evenly incorporated throughout the mixture.
Transfer the egg mixture into your greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and lightly golden on top. A knife inserted in the center should come out clean.
Once baked, remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
