Ingredients
Scale:
1 box of angel food cake mix (typically 15 oz)
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry angel food cake mix and the undrained crushed pineapple. Gently fold the ingredients together until there are no dry spots.
Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the bars from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, cut the bars into squares or rectangles and serve. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or add whipped cream.
